Raids

Hy,
I have read the message of the day while playing that you are looking for 70+ to begin raids.
I have seen that we have few healers in our guild, or I'm wrong?
If you need my help I can change my specs in holly and I have a friend with a lvl 64 priest.
Yesterday I have done the nexus (nice dungeon) and I tried for the second time Uk, but the last boss was impossible for us (like the first time). I am planning to do KARA next week with some friends, to see how it is and to understand bettere raiding.
I have seen on internet that guilds have statiastics about raids that they have cleared; how can they know if a guild has cleared a raid? should the group be composed by only guild members?
I have always a lot of things to know about the gameplay, I hope someone can answer me.

hmm, theres no real point doing kara, its not really a raid anymore, a 5 man grp for 74+ can do it. IMO keep going to 80 and then come naxx
